Open Africa

The Africa Academy was an initiative launched by Airbnb and Open Africa, a local nonprofit, to support hosts in South Africa’s townships.

The film documents the training process and benefits, and was used to promote the emerging partnership.

Production then followed hosts back to their communities and several shorts were published to encourage participation in the program and healthier tourism.
